ViewSonic:  58 Prozent Wachstum bei LCD-Displays

ViewSonic, ein weltweit führendes Unternehmen im Bereich visueller Technologien, baut seine Marktposition in EMEA*, ** im dritten Quartal weiter aus. Nach einer Wachstumsrate von 46 Prozent und der weltweiten TOP5-Position im zweiten Quartal 2006 wuchs der Absatz von LCD-Displays von Juli bis September im Jahresvergleich um 58 Prozent. Mit diesem Ergebnis konsolidiert ViewSonic auch seine weltweite Position und ist das am schnellsten wachsende Unternehmen im Markt.

Im Visual-Display-Markt rangiert ViewSonic in EMEA nun auf Platz 8 (nach Rang 9 im zweiten Quartal). Im Gesamt-LCD-Display-Markt der Region verbessert sich das Unternehmen von Rang 10 auf Rang 8. Eine ähnliche Entwicklung zeigt sich im Branded-LCD-Display-Markt, dort klettert ViewSonic von Platz 7 auf Platz 6.

Bei den großformatigen Displays fiel das Wachstum besonders signifikant aus. In der 20“-Kategorie belegt ViewSonic mit einem Marktanteil von 11 Prozent nun den dritten Platz (Q2: Platz 4 mit 9,7 Prozent Marktanteil). In 15 europäischen Ländern rangiert das Unternehmen in dieser Größenklasse in den TOP5 – in Finnland, Griechenland und Großbritannien sogar auf Platz 1.

Auch die Einführung der 22“-Modelle war ein voller Erfolg, hier klettert ViewSonic mit einem Marktanteil von fast 10 Prozent auf Platz 2 – und sogar auf Platz 1 in Finnland, Griechenland und im Mittleren Osten sowie auf Platz 2 in der Tschechischen Republik (10,6 Prozent) und in Italien (13,7 Prozent).
