ViewSonic unveils two new price performance Nokia displays
Nokia 510L and 710C complement award-winning ranges

Visual technology specialist ViewSonic has launched two new price performance displays to its award-winning Nokia Display Products range. The displays are the first to be launched since ViewSonic purchased the Nokia branded business in Europe and North America in March this year.

The Nokia LCD range has been boosted by the introduction of the sleek Nokia 510L. Featuring a 15" viewable screen, the display measures only 2.6" in depth without a stand – making it ideal for environments where space is at a premium.

Featuring a native resolution of 1,024 x 768, the 510L displays flicker-free, clear graphics and sharp, crisp text with a high contrast ration of 350:1, supporting up to 16.7 million colours. It delivers a typical luminance of 210 nits, sufficient for even high ambient light conditions in the brightest of offices.

The 510L also has a long backlight life of 35,000 hours (typically) and is compatible in both PC and Mac environments. The low price of the 510L means that it is the ideal display for price-sensitive corporates, resellers and SOHO users.

In addition, ViewSonic has added the Nokia 710C to its CRT range. The 17" (16.0" viewable screen) Nokia 710C uses a super flat picture tube to ensure accurate image reproduction across the entire screen, providing distortion free images with minimal glare and reflection.

The 710C features a maximum resolution of 1,280 x 1,024 with a recommended resolution of 1,024 x 768 @ 85Hz flicker-free refresh rate. Images are further enhanced with a fine 0.25mm dot pitch for improved picture focus with more accurate colour and character definition.

The display also features business audio with a microphone and two integrated powerful five-watt speakers in order to meet the expectations of demanding business applications such as teleconferencing. The 710C supports various other applications such as voice recognition via a external microphone, making it ideal for business applications and Web browsing.
