ViewSonic® Launches New Flagship Professional Displays
P225f and P95f offer best in flat faced CRT technology

ViewSonic, the visual display technology specialist, is launching its new high-end CRT displays in Europe - the P225f, 22" PerfectFlat® model. This launch coincides with the unveiling of its highest performing 19" PerfectFlat display yet - the P95f.

ViewSonic are targeting these high-end performance CRT displays at professional users of sophisticated and demanding graphic-intense and specialist applications such as CAD/CAM, DTP and DIP. The company believes its PerfectFlat screens offer the best in flat faced CRT technology, optimising front of screen performance levels to enhance image quality, whilst further minimising screen reflection, glare and distortion.

P225f: Brilliant images in an impressive 22" format

The ViewSonic P225f, 22" CRT PerfectFlat model - offering a 20" viewable display - has been specially designed for users requiring a very large viewable area, making it the ideal choice for people who have to tackle complex imaging tasks.

The PerfectFlat screen supplies extremely crisp images right to the edges, with a very high contrast and impressive colour saturation - thanks to an ultra-fine constant 0.24 mm aperture grille. A considerable 99 Hz refresh rate can be achieved with the recommended resolution of 1600 x 1200 (maximum resolution 2048 x 1536 at 79 Hz). The P225f offers a 30-127kHz horizontal frequency range, ensuring ultra high resolution support, and a 335MHz bandwidth for solid image stability at high resolutions. In addition, the monitor includes BNC connectors as an additional input feature for the traditional graphics user.
P95f: Top performance for professionals and discerning users

The new P95f - 19" PerfectFlat® monitor, with 18" viewable display is also a major new addition to ViewSonic's successful Professional Series.

Targeting graphics and new media designers, the P95f PerfectFlat screen delivers images which are low-reflection and distortion-free across the entire screen. The P95f uses a 0.25-0.27mm variable aperture pitch for improved picture definition, with a 30-117kHz horizontal frequency range for extended resolution support and a video bandwidth of 300 MHz for sharp and crisp screen performance. It offers a 'true' flicker-free 107 Hz image refresh rate in the recommended resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels (maximum resolution 1920 x 1440 at 77 Hz) and includes BNC connectors for high end applications.

Beyond their respective specifications, both models include additional features characteristic of the ViewSonic range. OnView? controls provide a full comprehensive range of intuitive user screen adjustments through the OSD. Improved ergonomic working conditions with better readability due to dark tint and high contrast panel are achieved through the ARAG® screen treatment.

As part of the ViewSonic Wizard, each monitor comes with E-Color's True Internet Color & Colorific colour management software, for reliable and precise colours when visiting E-Color Corrected Web sites, plus screen to print accuracy.

The new base design allows easy integration of the optional ViewSonic USB (Universal Serial Bus) for easy convenient connection to other USB compatible peripherals.

PC and Macintosh compatible, the P225f and P95f are approved to the strictest TCO'99 and Energy 2000 approvals. They come with a 3 year on site warranty and Express Exchange? service.
