ViewSonic extends its successful VX Series with 18”, 19” and 20” models. This flagship LCD monitor line offers the perfect combination of high-end technology and innovative design. The range is aimed at professionals who require top performance and a desire to enhance their working environment, particularly where clients have visibility. Not limited to professional users, the VX series will look equally good in a home office or indeed a living room.

All three models, the 18” VX800, 19” VX900 and 20” VX2000 utilise MVA panels. The VX900 and VX2000 provide impressive vertical and horizontal viewing angles of 170° as well as extremely fast response times of 25 milliseconds. Thanks to an excellent contrast ratio of 500:1 and high brightness values of 250 nits, both displays astonish with their incredibly sharp images and vivid colours. All models feature both analogue and digital (DVI) interfaces. The VX800 and VX900 have a native resolution of 1280 x 1024 (1.3 megapixels) while the VX2000 boasts a huge 1600 x 1200 (1.9 megapixels).

With their built-in speakers and microphone, these new arrivals are perfectly equipped for multimedia applications such as video conferencing. Due to their fast response time, animation or video applications become an absolute pleasure to use with none of the image smearing previously associated with many LCD monitors.

All monitors are PC and Mac compatible and TCO ‘95 or TCO ‘99 certified. They comply to ISO-13406-2, class 2 standard, which protects customers by clearly defining important visual ergonomic elements such as acceptable contrast, brightness and pixel errors. It is the most effective and comprehensive standard currently available. Furthermore, all models are backed by the ViewSonic three-year on-site warranty in most European countries.

The VX800 is available now. The other models are expected from May / June at ViewSonic dealers.
