ViewSonic^® launches LCD monitor with 16ms response time
New VG170m is a dedicated multimedia monitor delivering top industry performance at a competitive price

ViewSonic^® Corporation, a worldwide Visual Technologies^™ leader, today launched the VG170m LCD monitor - an LCD with the fastest response time in the ViewSonic range. Priced competitively, the 17-inch VG170m offers full multimedia functionality - with dual bezel-integrated speakers, as well as ultra-high brightness and a high contrast ratio.

With a response time of only 16ms, the VG170m could easily be used as a high resolution TV - by hooking it up to a DVD, gaming console, VCR or digital camera using for example, a ViewSonic video processor (available shortly). For instance, the fact that the pixels change so rapidly could make a real difference to watching fast-moving video, scrolling spreadsheets, web pages and other moving images.

The VG170m AutoTune^™ function ensures that users need not make adjustments to optimise the image, since this function automatically monitors video input and optimises display settings. The ViewSonic Wizard also provides user-friendly installation.
