ViewSonic presents a powerful, micro-portable DLP projector weighing less than 1 kilogram.
ViewSonic Corp., a worldwide Visual Technologies™ leader, today announced a new, micro-portable DLP projector. At under 1 kg, the PJ250 is a perfect choice for mobile presentations and has an impressively compact design and high performance.
With a resolution of 1,024 x 768 pixels (XGA), the PJ250 boasts brightness of 1,000 lumens to provide first-class image quality and vivid colours even in well-lit environments. Thanks to its tremendous contrast ratio of 2000:1, projections remain crisp right up to the edges enabling the easy recognition of even the smallest image details.
"The PJ250 belongs to the micro-portable category of projectors and is one of the smallest and lightest such models in the world. ViewSonic sees vast potential in this market segment in the coming months and years, as these devices offer very good performance with minimal weight and extremely compact dimensions," comments Haarvard Foseid, Director Presentations Product Group.
Equipped with both an analogue and digital interface (DVI-I), the model is suited for all types of business projections. But it also proves to have real home-cinema qualities due to additional video connections allowing the latest blockbusters to be shown from TV, DVD or video. It is also possible to adjust the aspect ratio between 4:3 and 16:9 to match the image source.
"Those who often travel on business will particularly appreciate how valuable lightweight yet powerful the equipment is. With the PJ250, ViewSonic offers a DLP projector that enables state-of-the-art presentations to be given anywhere, but that has no impact on the business traveller's baggage allowance. A remote control and carry-case are included as standard equipment. ViewSonic provides a three-year warranty on the PJ250. The model will be available from March at specialist retailers.
