New Channel Partners Strengthen Route to European AV Market
ViewSonic, a worldwide Visual Technologies™ leader, today announced that it has expanded its projector business in Europe with a new targeted strategy. The company already enjoys a 5% market share in the US, placing it within the top ten of projector vendors, and it is aiming to mirror that market presence in Europe through the appointment of specialist distribution partners.
ViewSonic is building market share through a focused two-step channel strategy. The first phase involves the consolidation and strengthening of ViewSonic’s existing channel across Europe. The second phase sees the creation of a specialist AV channel, able to leverage the quality and price/performance aspects of the product line. Partners already signed to the programme include Splash AV and Microtronica in the UK, Sigma in Germany and FVS in France. The company will focus on marketing the projector product line in Europe, as well as educating the market and training new channel partners.
ViewSonic’s projector offering caters for all needs from micro-portable devices for mobile businessmen up to high-end office theatre equipment for conferences and boardroom meetings. The range includes both LCD and DLP technologies.
