January, 2004ViewSonic presents new LCD display series for demanding users.
The ViewSonic Corporation, a worldwide leader in visual display products, completely replaces its previous VG Series models with a new line up of innovative LCD displays in the sizes 15", 17", 18" and 19". The VG Series is targeted at users who want more features and performance than entry level models generally offer, but at the same time do not necessarily require high end products, such as those from the ViewSonic Professional Series. These new LCD displays have been designed for use in both business and home environments, and are therefore equally suited to classic office and business graphic applications, as well as surfing the internet or playing games.
All models in the new VG Series have been equipped with digital (DVI-D) analogue inputs and impress with their slim, modern design available in silver-black and black. TCO’03 or TCO’99 certified, these LCD displays also meet one of the world’s strictest standards for ergonomics, recycling and power management. Furthermore, every display size in the new VG Series line-up features stereo speakers, which have been subtly integrated into the bezel. They provide the sound to accompany the first-class image quality. An easy-to-operate screen menu allows adjustment of the picture settings.
The new VG Series LCD displays meet the requirements of the sRGB colour standard. This ensures the colour reproduction corresponds to that of other peripherals, such as printers or digital cameras, supporting the standard.
