ViewSonic presents new LCD TVs, flat panel displays, projectors and Tablet PCs at CeBIT 2004.   


The ViewSonic Corporation, a worldwide leader in visual display products, will present its new LCD displays, LCD TVs, DLP and LCD projectors plus Tablet PCs at CeBIT 2004 (Hall 21, Stand B59).

With the N2700w, ViewSonic adds an elegantly designed 27” widescreen model to its range of LCD TVs. This model is equipped with both analogue and digital interfaces and finished in a timeless sliver. It delivers a brightness of 500 cd/m^² (typ.) and a contrast ratio of 500:1 (typ.) Its images impress with their superb sharpness. Thanks to the fast reaction times of just 25 milliseconds and a wide viewing angle of 170° (horizontal and vertical), the N2700w ensures fast-moving action films can be enjoyed without any distortion from almost any viewpoint. Integrated speakers (2 x 10W) provide the accompanying sound to round out the viewing experience.

A few months ago, ViewSonic successfully introduced the new range of LCD Displays for the professional sector (VP Series). This March in Hanover, the company presents the completely new VG Series. Available in sizes of 15“ to 19“, in a black-silver metallic design and black (midnight grey) only, these models have been especially designed for the mid-range segment. They offer excellent image quality with high performance and are therefore ideal for both demanding private and business users. For the more cost-conscious, entry level segment, ViewSonic is also releasing a two VE Series models, one 15” display (in black-silver and black only) and a 17” version (in black-silver and black only). In addition, there will be prototypes of the new VX series design, with a planned launch date in the months following CeBIT ’04 along with other designs that are being considered by ViewSonic Europe Ltd. for the European market.

Several projectors will of course be making their European debut at the ViewSonic stand. Besides showing its most recent LCD projectors: the 2.7 kg light and 2,000 lumens bright PJ650 and the PJ510, which features a brightness value of 1,200 lumens, ViewSonic will exhibit its brand new DLP range.

An invaluable tool for the mobile professional, it also features a 12.1'' LCD screen, Intel Centrino Mobile Technology, integrated 802.11b wireless capability and the Microsoft Windows^® XP Professional Tablet PC Edition operating system. 256MB of memory, a 30GB hard drive and an Intel Pentium^® M 1GHz processor plus a three-hours battery life provide the power needed for efficient work.
