The stylish ViewSonic N3000w LCDTV brings wide appeal, great performance, versatility and value

ViewSonic® Corp., a worldwide leader in visual display products, announces today that it has launched its first high-definition ready television display in Europe with the 30-inch LCD TV NextVision N3000w. Offering greater performance and value to consumers, the NextVision N3000w wide-screen display is addressing the increasing demand for large, flat-screen TVs.

The N3000w is a unique and versatile LCDTV display that is fully optimised for both TV and computing. ViewSonic has designed its product to offer European customers the highest quality image possible, regardless of the content being shown. Advanced motion adaptive video de-interlacing technology achieves excellent front-of-screen performance for progressive screen images and combines with 3:2 reverse pull-down support and High Bandwidth Digital Content Protection to deliver a consistent, high-quality digital visual experience.

“ViewSonic’s history as a leader in the traditional fast moving computer display market gives us an inherent advantage in the highly competitive TV market,” said Aaron Fright, European Product Marketing Manager, ViewSonic. “The N3000w continues to fuel the Visual Revolution by giving users the freedom to utilize one device for both their television viewing and computing experience without sacrificing size or picture quality, in almost any environment.”

The NextVision N3000w LCD TV offers dual integrated tuners for true side-by-side TV channel viewing, and a built-in 20-watt audio system with subwoofer output for high-fidelity sound.

Full picture-in-picture and split-screen functionality allow viewers to preview two video inputs simultaneously. The display is also compatible with analogue and digital PC and Mac® computer systems and offers a comprehensive choice of multiple connections including, DVI-D, PC, two Euro Scarts, as well as two component (YpbPr), and composite video.

The display comes with an advanced remote control and has full Teletext functions, and can be easily attached to a wall with an optional mounting kit.

“Our ability to quickly bring product to market means that we as a company can move quicker than what the traditional TV market is used too, “says Fright. “The positioning of the N3000w means our selected European resellers can take advantage of the increasing convergence between the traditional CE and PC channel of visual products”.

The N3000w design is ideal for the home or commercial, public displays in offices or sports bars and is available through authorized distributors, wholesalers, online and mail order resellers. It is backed by a two-year limited warranty on parts, labour and backlight.
