Press Release
October 25, 2005ViewSonic goes HD-ready with latest LCD TV range
Unveiling three High Definition entertainment LCD TVs
ViewSonic, a worldwide leader in the field of visual technologies, extends its NextVisionTM LCD TV product line-up with three new models. These additions broaden the range to offer a comprehensive choice of entertainment LCD TV displays spanning from 20” to 40” (51cm to 102cm) models.
Attractively designed in a stylish silver exterior, the new ViewSonic NextVision N3260w (32” / 81cm), N3760w (37” / 94cm) and N4060w (40” / 102cm) incorporate the latest state-of-the-art panel technology combining wider viewing angles and ultra fast video response times, enabling fluid movements to maximise the thrill of watching action movies and fast moving sport scenes.
For the very best in High Definition home entertainment pictures and sound, each model sports the HD-ready logo and is equipped for the HDTV needs of the future. They include the latest HDMI interface, which supports both uncompressed high definition video and digital audio through a single cable generating the highest quality picture performance possible. HDTV display formats supported by these new models include 1080i, 720p as well as standard definition images. High brightness and contrast values ensure those detailed high-definition pictures and vivid realistic colours bring TV images to life. These models integrate SRS technology, for an all round surround effect, where the built-in speakers return excellent sound quality (for more technical details, see the table below).
“The launch of these new models not only illustrates how consumers are demanding even more from their home entertainment technologies, but it marks an important phase in the evolution of our TV business across Europe. These new models demonstrate ViewSonic’s goal to secure an even stronger position in the rapidly booming flat-screen-TV market and establish itself – like has long been the case in the LCD display segment – as a market leading quality brand,” comments Aaron Fright, European Product Marketing Manager for LCD TV.
They will be available in Europe from November 2005 at specialist retailers. ViewSonic offers a 24 month warranty on each of these models.
