ViewSonic, a worldwide leader in visual display products, introduces the 19” multimedia wide-screen VA1912w LCD. This attractively-priced display is ideal for both business and private use, offering consumers extra screen space for enhanced productivity, flexibility and viewing pleasure. Boasting features including multiple document windows or playback of HD-quality movies in their original aspect ratios, the VA1912w combines optimal performance with an elegant and timeless silver-black design.
The model’s 16:10 wide-screen aspect ratio along with an ultra-fast response time of just eight milliseconds (ClearMotiv™ technology) allow the VA1912w to display even the most bustling action scenes or immersive gaming action without distortion. High brightness and contrast ratios, wide viewing angles and a native resolution of 1440 x 900 ensure rich, detailed images from virtually any perspective.
This multimedia model, with integrated power supply, is equipped with an analogue and a digital (DVI-D) interface as well as an audio input, offering variable connectivity options. Stereo speakers are integrated in the stylish and slim silver bezel to deliver respectable sound quality to accompany the first-class depictions. Settings can be comfortably adjusted via a clearly structured on-screen menu while a lock function for the OSD and power switch prevent unauthorised changes to monitor settings and ensures the display won’t be turned off accidentally. sRGB colour space adjustment is possible, to ensure the colours depicted on screen match those on printouts from sRGB-compatible printers.
The PC and Mac-compatible VA1912w will be available from 1 December 2005.
