Press Release
April, 2006New high-end 21” LCD monitor with improved provision for pixel errors
Special promotional deals for corporations
Following the launch of the VX2025wm, ViewSonic issues a short update on a further new product and services:
VP2130b: New high-end 21” LCD monitor – performance plus ergonomics
This 21” LCD is designed for professional users that besides exceptional viewing performance also demand maximum ergonomics. The high-end model can pivot (90°), swivel horizontally (270°), is adjustable in height (to 13.5cm) and can be tilted. In addition, the monitor is shipped with PerfectSuite management software – allowing image quality and colours to be comfortably adjusted by simply using the mouse. A handy Wizard assistant guides users through the calibration process with explanations and test screens. All important settings as well as the theft deterrence function can be administered via the PerfectSuite software.
Details: Contrast: 1,000:1, viewing angle: 178°/178° h/v, response time: 8 milliseconds (GtG), brightness: 300cd/m², inputs: analogue D-Sub/digital DVI-I, resolution: 1,600 x 1,200.
Zero Bright Dot: Improved provision for pixel errors
Anyone purchasing a 17”, 19”, 20” or 21” model from the ViewSonic Professional series will now also benefit from an improved regulation for dealing with pixel errors. Purchasers can return the product up to 15 days after purchase – even if only a single sub-pixel is constantly bright on a dark background. The limited timeframe for return is calculated on the basis of the fact that 99% of such types of sub-pixel errors result after a single normal thermo cycle (i.e. after the display has been on for a period, then off for a period and then on again - hot, cold, hot).
On top of excellent image quality, the latest ViewSonic promotion puts the focus on the terrific ergonomic merits of monitors from the Professional series, including: 90° pivot, 270° swivel, 35° tilt and 13.5cm height adjustment. For corporations interested in these high-end TFTs, ViewSonic is currently developing a range of particularly economical, tailor-made package deals that also include the collection and disposal of old monitors.
