ViewSonic Europe unveils new Wi-Fi solution
New adaptor connects any PC or laptop wirelessly to any projector or screen
30 January 2007 – ViewSonic, a worldwide leader in visual display products, announced today its wireless presentation adaptor WPG-100.
The WPG-100 enables users to connect to and use any projector, LCD TV or desktop display with a VGA or DVI connection, allowing easy start-up and changes between presenters without having to swap cables. Users simply connect wirelessly to the unit, download the driver and start their presentation.
Users are connected wirelessly to the projector, which has a wired connection to the Internet. So any participant interacting with the projector through the wireless WPG-100 connection can access the web-based, network-based or PC-based content they need. The WPG-100 supports WEP and WPA wireless security, which ensures that the link between the PC and the projector is secure, and offers a short password feature to prevent any unauthorized user from connecting.
The WPG-100 allows multiple meeting attendees to make presentations from individual PDAs or laptops, creating a more interactive environment; retailers presenting wirelessly in-store to promote products; installation in any location where wireless presenting is required such as exhibitions and events.

The WPG-100 is available through authorised ViewSonic resellers.
