ViewSonic launches new projector dedicated to the education market
5th July, 2007 – ViewSonic introduces the PJ678 - a powerful and budget-friendly high-brightness LCD projector for the education market. It offers superb versatility thanks to a wide range of connectivity options and a short-throw lens.
Featuring a Plug & Play design that makes it easy to install and use; the 2500-lumen PJ678 boasts a native resolution of 1024x768 (XGA). It delivers projections that are crisp, clear and bright in virtually any setting, including razor-sharp spreadsheets and highly-detailed images. Behind this projector’s attractive silver facade is the latest LCD panel generation technology for rich, lifelike colours and excellent brightness and colour uniformity.
Furthermore, this model offers full connectivity: With two VGA inputs (one DVI with HDCP support and included DVI-to-VGA adapter), two computers can be connected simultaneously. An extra VGA output lets video sources be displayed remotely on a monitor, allowing presenters to see what is being projected on the screen behind them. In addition, component, S-video and composite inputs allow for the connection of various other video sources for dynamic multimedia presentations during lessons and trainings.
Even over short distances, the short-throw lens can produce large diagonal screen sizes, making this projector the perfect choice for presenting big ideas in small rooms. Thanks to one-touch installation and vertical keystone correction, setup is easy even for tech novices.
Rounding out the impressive list of features is Eco mode, which extends lamp life up to 3000 hours and reduces noise output to a comfortable 29 decibels.
