ViewSonic Launches 20000:1 contrast ratio VX62 series LCDs - brings style and sophistication to the desktop
LCD Display Series Blends Alluring Design with Fast Response Time for Ultimate Gaming and Entertainment Performance
11th, September 2008, London – Building on its heritage of delivering innovative display products to the mainstream market, ViewSonic® Corp. has combined performance, convenience and attractive design with accent silver and purple stripe lines in its latest VX 62 Series of consumer LCD monitors. With exquisite style, including invisible speakers and a glossy black finish, the 19-inch VX1962wm/p and 22-inch VX2262wm/p provide consumers with a display that will be aesthetically pleasing in many rooms of the home and office. These displays tout industry-leading 20000:1 contrast ratio and color performance in a unique, multiuse design to enhance the PC entertainment experience and desktop computing.
For consumers looking for a larger display, the VX2262wm/p provides a sizable viewing area to increase productivity while complementing any desktop. The 22-inch monitor includes a super clear panel that displays the most realistic black levels, drastically improves color quality and gives a boost to the industry-leading 20000:1 dynamic contrast ratio (typ). The VX2262wm/p also combines 2ms response time, 1680X1050 native resolution and 300 nits of brightness (typ) to deliver fluid, full-motion images and optimized video performance.
19’’ widescreen VX1962wm/p resolution is to offer the market’s first 19-inch with the high-definition (HD) resolution of 1680x1050 resolution. The VX1962wm also boasts up to 2ms response time and has 6000:1 dynamic contrast ratio (typ), making it the ultimate monitor for gaming and HD content enthusiasts. This feature set combined with the high resolution panel is also ideal for movie production and engineering applications.
Not only does the new VX 62 Series include invisible stereo speakers for a stylish look, but ViewSonic has improved the clarity and sound quality of the incorporated speakers with the inclusion of SRS WOW HD software, which is activated by installing SRS Audio Soundbox (SAS) that comes with the monitor. This enhancement extends the frequency range of the speakers and allows for better response and sound performance, which will compliment the multimedia features in the displays.
