ViewSonic® Expands LCD Range
Quality 15" and 17" LCDs in New Design
ViewSonic, a leading worldwide Visual Technology™ provider, has extended its LCD range with the launch of the VE150m and VE170m. These super-slim monitors offer a number of features and excellent picture quality in an attractive design and are the ideal choice for space-conscious corporates.
VE150m - perfect for where space is at a premium
The VE150m is the first multimedia, full 15.0" LCD monitor in the ViewSonic range to combine quality features and price/performance with the new design.
With a panel based on Film Technology, this entry level TFT LCD monitor has been designed to match the requirements of general business users and for video conferencing as well as multimedia applications.
Besides a 1.3 inch slim bezel design and optimising the use of the workspace, the VESA® wall-mountable VE150m is fully equipped with built-in speakers, allowing a full audio and visual experience.
Delivering a native resolution of 1024 x 768, a high contrast ratio of 400:1, a brightness of 250 nits with viewing angles of 120° horizontal and 110° vertical, the VE150m produces perfect focus, bright images and superb colour saturation.
The innovative VE150m 15.0" viewable panel is also the first LCD display to offer an automatic Ø-Touch auto-tune feature providing completely automatic signal optimisation for the best possible image in all supported resolutions.
The first models on sale will be in an attractive midnight grey colour (VE150mb), further enhancing the new design and giving the impression of an even slimmer profile.
VE170m - the super-slim multimedia LCD
For those looking for the benefits of a large screen LCD, ViewSonic is launching the 17.0" VE170m and a midnight grey version named VE170mb. Weighing only 8.5kg, they are extremely lightweight compared to the average CRT monitor and take up very little desk space.
These 17" LCD deliver images at a crisp, clear resolution of 1280 x 1024, a contrast ratio of 450:1, a high brightness of 250 nits with viewing angles of 120° horizontal and 110° vertical. The Ø-Touch auto-tune feature guarantees that the best possible image is delivered in all environments.
The two built-in 1.5 watt stereo speakers provide superior sound quality while Digital Chroma Enhancement produces rich, saturated colours when videos and moving images are displayed, making it an excellent tool for multimedia applications.
What's more, these slim 2.2 inch models are VESA® wall-mountable and the ViewSonic Wizard software supplied with the monitors provide user-friendly installation.
