ViewSonic unveils new multifunctional LCD ViewPanel:
The space-saving VG181 offers multiple analogue and digital inputs

ViewSonic is to expand its award-winning LCD ViewPanel range with the introduction of the space saving VG181.

The 18.1" LCD display features ViewSonic's groundbreaking new OptiSync technology, which allows multiple inputs ensuring precise display synchronisation to either analogue or digital technology. OptiSync ensures that users have the flexibility to connect to the digitally equipped solutions of tomorrow whilst providing exceptional picture quality for today's analogue inputs.

The VG181 offers the ultimate space-saving convenience and workspace efficiency with a depth of 3 inches (6.7 inches including base) and a weight of just 10Kg.

The display includes a detachable base with a VESA wall mountable capability and delivers a superb 160-degree viewing angle for maximum image performance. In addition, the display features a height, tilt, swivel and portrait function.

Featuring a native resolution of 1280 x 1024, the VG181 displays a full 18.1" viewable screen, which is comparable to the viewable display of many 19" CRT monitors.

The VG181 has been specifically designed to meet the needs of these users and provides cost-effective display with maximum image quality."

To reduce set-up time, whilst maintaining full functionality, the VG181 has easy to use digital OnView^® controls for precise display settings. In addition, the display is TCO '99 certified, PC '99 compliant and features Plug & Play in both Mac and PC environments.

The display is backed by a three-year Express Exchange^™, on site, swap-out warranty and will be available in September.
