A new look state of the art 20" UXGA LCD monitor

ViewSonic plans to extend its LCD range beyond 18.1" are about to take off. As a first step, the visual display technology specialist unveils the VP201m, a 20.1" multimedia display. Primarily targeting professional graphic users of sophisticated applications such as document imaging, DTP and video editing, it can easily become the ultimate solution for all highly demanding professional users.

Featuring the distinctive new ViewSonic design and offering dual input - analogue and DVI, the full 20.1" VP201m includes an IPS technology TFT panel with a 1600 x 1200 native resolution, allowing users to display full A3 sized documents. The flexibility has been further enhanced by the pivot function, providing the opportunity to work both in landscape and portrait modes (software included). A user-friendly OSD menu completes the comprehensive feature range of the monitor.

Combining improved response times with wide viewing angles up to 170°, the VP201m is well positioned to get a foothold on a market segment dominated by space consuming 21" and 22" CRT monitors.

All audio features for multimedia applications are integrated into the bezel for further space saving benefits. PC and Mac compatible, the VP201m is TCO '99 certified. As with the whole ViewSonic range, the VP201m is backed by a 3-year on-site warranty, including Express Exchange^™ service.

The first models on sale will arrive in a black version, named VP201mb (TCO '95), an even stronger point addressing highly design sensitive users.
