June, 2004ViewSonic launches new designs for its highly successful X Series LCD monitors
With the release of its X Series three years ago, ViewSonic clearly positioned itself among the pioneers in the LCD monitor market, by ensuring that the display’s design reflected their high performance capabilities. Now one of the worldwide leaders in visual display products presents its successful classic with a new design concept. These new models are suited for both work and home use. The displays are already available in 15” and 17”. A 19” version will follow this summer.
Demand for stylishly designed LCD monitors is booming. These days, hardly anyone goes for the non-descript beige models that used to dominate the market. The new additions to the ViewSonic X Series have been created to meet this growing trend. Incorporating elegant simplicity in a timelessly classic style, they are design statements that blend in with a wide variety of office and home decoration environments. Their slim bezel is slightly rounded at the edges and set off through the addition of a silver background. The clear aesthetic form is also visible in the stand’s secure base, which is quite different from regular designs.
Each model delivers excellent brightness, contrast, viewing angles and fast response times, especially the 17” & 19” versions that compare with those of professional models. The table below provides further details.
