ViewSonic broadens successful VX Series for the professional sector with a 19" multimedia LCD monitor.

ViewSonic, the US Visual Technologies^™ specialist, extends its successful VX Series with a 19" model. This flagship LCD monitor range offers the perfect combination of high-end technology and innovative design. The line-up is especially aimed at professionals who require top performance. The VX900 shares the slim black casing and metallic-silver bezel characteristic of the entire VX series.

The model features a native resolution of 1280 x 1024, vertical and horizontal viewing angles of 170° and is equipped with an MVA panel to produce images in near-to-life-like quality. Due to its extremely fast response time of 25 milliseconds, videos and fast-action games can be enjoyed without any annoying image smearing. An excellent contrast ratio of 600:1 and high brightness value of 260 nits impressively round out the top performance features of this monitor. Both an analogue and digital (DVI) interface is incorporated.

This model is ideally equipped for multimedia applications such as video conferencing. Two speakers integrated in the monitor's bezel ensure good sound reproduction while a built-in microphone is perfect for PC video conferences and internet telephony.

The VX900 is PC and Mac compatible and TCO '99 certified. Furthermore, it complies to the ISO-13406-2, class 2 standard, which protects customers by clearly defining important visual ergonomic elements such as acceptable contrast, brightness and pixel errors. It is the most effective and comprehensive standard currently available. In addition, all models are backed by the ViewSonic three year on-site warranty in most European countries.
